About Us

Amiel Blajchman, MES

Founder: Amiel Blajchman, MES Our founder, Amiel Blajchman, has always believed in the concept of a sustainable world, and he believes that the work of the Globalis Group will help create that sustainable world.

Professionally, he has worked on issues as diverse as climate change, sustainable development, environmental and social impacts of resource extraction on local communities and ecological economics. Amiel has worked with myriad sectors of society, including the Canadian and Bangladeshi governments, national and international non-governmental organizations, national and local First Nations groups, and various corporations.

Currently, he is a member of the UN's Greenhouse Gas Inventory of Experts, the Canadian International Council, is on the board of directors of Breakaway Addiction Services and is a research associate with Pragmora.

Amiel holds the following qualifications:

  • Master in Environmental Studies (with a specialization in ecological economics; and sustainability in resource extraction)
  • Graduate Diploma in Business and the Environment
  • Graduate Diploma in Latin America and Caribbean Studies
  • Professional Diploma in Negotiation and Mediation
  • Professional Diploma in Advanced Dispute Resolution
  • Certificate in Conflict Analysis
